WORK is due to start later this summer on a new £35m facility at Aintree hospital. The elective care centre is one of the largest projects to commence in Liverpool in 2008. It means that outpatient clinics and day-case surgery, currently on the Walton Hospital site, could relocate to the new four-storey building in 2010.
