A planned government inquiry into the dangers of contaminated air on aircraft has been criticised by leading scientists and pressure groups. The inquiry, which was announced this week by Jim Fitzpatrick, the aviation minister, follows a Daily Telegraph investigation in February that revealed that hundreds of incidents of contaminated air on aircraft had been reported by British pilots.
