A BRAVE eight-year-old boy, struck by a life-threatening illness, is striding out to help find a cure. Jamie Anderson, of Speedway, Farndon, has cystic fibrosis and must clap his chest for an hour every day before school to stop his lungs getting clogged with thick sticky mucus. Now mum Zoë, dad Simon and Jamie’s brother Robert, 10, are urging people to join them on the ‘Great Strides’ 10km Elephant and Castles Walk at Beeston Castle on Sunday, June 8.
