A MAN has saved the life of his brother twice – by donating his bone marrow. Jon Wilkinson first came to the rescue when Martin was diagnosed with leukaemia and doctors discovered he was the perfect match. Amazingly, 11 years on, and Martin, from Wigan, was struck down by a different strand of the cancer Once again he was able to turn to 50-year-old Jon – who he has nicknamed his ‘spare parts man' - and has had another transplant.
