As a Foundation Year 2 doctor, Ihab is about to complete his second year of training at West Cumberland Hospital. mbabbasi ‘You have to care’: Dr Ihab Abbasi believes there is much more to being a doctor than surgery In that time he has spent three to four months working in a range of specialities, including accident and emergency and currently elderly care. When he qualifies in August he plans to move into surgery, as that is the area he feels you can see significant results and can make a big difference.
