Ambulance overturns at roundabout - Liverpool Echo 21st June 2008

AN AMBULANCE crashed onto its side on its way to a 999 call. The accident happened on Carr Lane, Prescot, just before 2pm yesterday. The vehicle was on its way to the emergency call in Huyton when it overturned as it attempted to negotiate the roundabout. The three paramedics who were on board were shaken up, although not seriously injured, and were taken to Whiston Hospital to be checked out. No other vehicles were involved.
