A REPORT by an official NHS watchdog has revealed Halton Hospital failed to uphold basic standards of safety and cleanliness during 2006-7. The Healthcare Commission published the results of its nationwide hospital inspections, highlighting the fact that Halton is just one of the two-thirds of NHS and private hospitals not meeting the highest standards of cleanliness.
