Tb Vaccination Majority Of Children Are At Low Risk - Bury Times 14th May 2008

As local health professionals with responsibilities for the BCG vaccine, we felt it was important to respond to the letter printed in last week's Bury Times entitled Vaccination vital in our multi-cultural society'. We understand that the national policy to discontinue a vaccine for most children could cause concern. We have looked at this new policy very carefully and we consider that it is in the best interest of children.
