HEALTH chiefs have given their backing to a new headquarters for East Lancashire Primary Care Trust. Board members at NHS North West, which funds projects for local health authorities, have supported the proposals for offices near the former Boundary Mill site, Regent Street, close to the Nelson and Colne border. They are now waiting for a few minor details to be added to the PCT's business case, and have authorised chairman Sir David Henshaw to officially approve the scheme later this month.
