EXPERTS issued new warnings over Britain’s alcohol epidemic as figures showed the number of hospital admissions has more than doubled in just over a decade. Official data revealed the number of admissions to NHS hospitals in England jumped 7% in just one year, from 193,637 in 2005/06 to 207,788 in 2006/07.
