A LIVERPOOL family are demanding to know how a 78-year-old woman was injured during a respite stay at a nursing home. Great-grandmother Audrey Gilmartin, who has arthritis in both knees, was taken to hospital after apparently falling twice as she tried to get out of bed. She suffered cuts and bruises, but her family said no explanation had been given to how she came to have serious blistering to her upper arm and chest.
