THE former boss of a children's nursery in Stockport was today given a suspended prison sentence after pleading guilty to assaults on four youngsters who had been in her care. Mum-of-two Lesley Thompson, 52, admitted to the assaults which all happened in December last year, and was told by the chairman of the Stockport Bench she was lucky not to have gone to jail.
