Dependable and caring health service - Carlisle News & Star 17th May 2008

I write on the vexed subject of the National Health Service. I want to express gratitude for significant sections of this oft-maligned organisation and effect some balance to the continuing carping and criticism. I have, for some years, cared at home for a frail and disabled wife. I have only been able to do this because of the dedicated and caring support I was able to access from different branches of this complex organisation.
