A man and a woman have been charged with neglect after the death of a seven-year-old girl. Khyra Ishaq was pronounced dead after being taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital early on Saturday. Tests are being carried out to determine how she died. The couple who have been charged, Angela Gordon and Junaid Abuhamza, are understood to be the child’s mother and stepfather.
