WATER has been collected in pots, pans and sinks at a Southport nursing home with the fear that United Utilities will turn off their water supply – again. Elm House nursing home, on Cambridge Road, has had its water supply turned on and off for the past six weeks. Owner, John Berry, said: “You could be having a bath or washing-up and the water just suddenly goes off.
