Pensioner was ‘swindled’ claim family in care costs claim - Liverpool Daily Post 21st April 2008

A DISABLED pensioner unwittingly paid out thousands in care home fees because three health organisations failed to assess her financial status, relatives claim. Marjorie Eyton-Jones’s family have served a High Court writ against the NHS bodies – including Wirral Primary Care Trust – demanding repayment of up to £150,000.
