New hospital ward unveiled - Chorley Citizen 4th April 2008

The first new look ward block concourse at the Royal Preston Hospital has been unveiled as part of a multi-million pound overhaul of facilities. Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the hospital, has invested £3.2million to modernise wards and ward block reception areas and concourses. The Medical Assessment Unit and ward 20 were the first to be refurbished and include new bays which feature dedicated toilet and shower facilities.
