Hospital volunteers get token of thanks - Runcorn and Widnes Weekly News 15th April 2008

THE work of volunteers who help out at Whiston Hospital has been recognised by St Helens and Knowsley Hospitals Trust. Trust chief executive Ann Marr laid on a special coffee morning for the volunteers as a gesture of thanks. The trust has about 100 volunteers who help with a range of tasks, from making tea on the wards to reading to patients.
