The General Medical Council has said it is to investigate a Dumfriesshire doctor convicted of possessing illegal drugs at a music festival. Dr Fraser Gibb, 41, of Dumfries, has been summoned to appear before a disciplinary hearing later this month. He was convicted at Kirkcudbright Sheriff Court of having 14 ecstasy tablets at the festival in July 2006.
