Families mourn failure of pioneering kidney swap - The Sunday Times 20th April 2008

ONE of Britain’s first kidney swap operations involving two families has gone wrong after an organ was rejected by the patient’s body. Roger Wearn, 56, a finance director, agreed to give one of his healthy kidneys to a stranger so his wife could receive one in return from the man’s daughter.
