The number of arrests by Britain's pioneering unit to tackle child sexual abuse has tripled in its second year of operation to nearly 300 suspects. Results published today by the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre show that 297 offenders have been arrested and 131 children protected from further abuse.
