It's not a problem that is usually recognised as needing therapy. But one in three of us has a friend or relative who can't control their temper. Yet failure to manage anger is increasingly leading to aggressive criminal acts, family breakdown and physical and mental health issues, doctors warn. Intense and chronic anger has also been linked to heart disease, cancer, strokes, depression and even frequent colds and bouts of 'flu.
