Axe falls on health watchdog - Altrincham Messenger 25th March 2008

TRAFFORD'S health watchdog is about to be abolished - and the body earmarked to replace it is not yet in place. All Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) Forums, including Trafford's, are being axed as part of a national initiative. This will see the PPI forums replaced by a Health and Social Care Involvement Network (LINKS), but there is no starting date for it to take over in Trafford.
