The E.coli bug is becoming resistant to drugs and could be as big a problem as the superbug MRSA, scientists have warned. E.coli bacteria can cause food poisoning. It can also be responsible for some urinary tract infections and stomach bugs. Scientists have discovered that the bug is changing and increasingly becoming resistant to antibiotics.
