A DOCTOR at the Royal Bolton Hospital faces a disciplinary hearing after branding an idea by his bosses as "crap." The senior doctor was speaking at a meeting of fellow doctors, nurses, community GPs and managers. Hospital chiefs had announced plans to hand out pin badges for medical staff, advising them to wash their hands after visiting the toilet as a way of minimising the spread of bugs.
