A TEENAGER who died after a routine operation on his jaw had been given a `high' dose of anaesthetic drugs, an inquest was told. Zeshan Ashraf, 18, had a heart attack minutes after surgery to correct an underbite at Manchester Royal Infirmary and died 10 days later. Independent medical expert Prof John Wildsmith said junior doctor Lena Tan should have taken better care of him after the operation in October 2006, but added that she should have also had more support.
