Medics back training review - Liverpool Daily Post 10th January 2008

MERSEYSIDE medics last night backed a report calling for the government to be stripped of its responsibility for training junior doctors in England. The parents of junior doctors in the region, who last year faced career uncertainty when a new application system plunged their training into chaos, said Professor Sir John Tooke’s report finally showed a vote of no confidence in the government’s system, which had left many highly skilled doctors jobless.
