THE world’s first fully functioning bionic hand is coming to west Cumbria to give students and mechanical enthusiasts a first look at the latest medical advances. The event, at St Bees School, has been organised by IMechE West Cumbria – a group for people with an interest in mechanical engineering, which holds regular seminars throughout the year.
