CANCER patients will be better served after bosses of Manchester's Christie hospital agreed plans to build a satellite centre in Oldham. The new £17m facility at the Royal Oldham Hospital is due to open in November, 2009, and will mean everyone in the region is within half an hour of a radiotherapy unit.
