Cancer care in Britain is subject to a postcode lottery, with some health trusts spending three times more on patients than others, new figures have revealed. Huge discrepancies in funding mean that the life expectancy of patients could vary from region to region as expensive life-saving drugs are dispensed to only those living in certain areas.
