City-dwellers ‘prone to breast cancer’ - The Times 27th November 2007

Women who live in cities may have denser breasts than country dwellers, making them more prone to breast cancer, a study by London doctors has suggested. They cannot yet explain this difference, but suspect that traffic pollution may be involved. Previous studies have shown that women with dense breasts are up to four times more at risk of breast cancer than those with fatty breasts.
