Cases of superbug C. difficile rise 7 per cent, new figures reveal - Daily Mail 2nd November 2007

The scale of the hospital crisis over the deadly C. Difficile superbug has emerged. The number of cases rose by 7 per cent among over-65s to more than 55,000 last year. And figures published for the first time revealed thousands of under-65s are also catching the bug.
