British endure longest wait for care - The Telegraph 1st November 2007

British patients have to wait longer for treatment than those in other developed countries, according to a survey to be published today. An American think-thank asked 12,000 adults in seven wealthy countries about their health system, and rated the NHS as "worst" or "almost worst" for waiting lists, treatment and quality of care.
